Marbella apparel - Platinum and S.C. Vintage

In a weeks time I will be lounging on a beach in the lovely sunny Marbella, probably nursing a raging hang over and metamorphosing into a giant red lobster. That aside, after browsing attire which I want to take away with me I came across some great finds. In particular, Platinum apparel offer brilliant holiday vibe clothing which really stands out and offer a diverse range of vests and t-shirts which can be worn for casual day or evening wear. I've teamed them up with Religion shorts (from Sereneorder) and H&M sunglasses to complete the look. I've also found a shirt from S.C Vintage which is perfect for smarter evening wear, which I've teamed up with shoes from Poste and jeans by Cheap Monday (from asos).
Check out more from S.C. Vintage and Platinum apparel.

I envisage hearing a lot of the controversial Jennifer Lopez 'Live it up' during the short Marbella break, which is kind of my guilty pleasure right now. Just a shame I'll miss the TOWIE cast who left earlier this week...

Geek chic with Antic and Boon

Just a quick post this morning because I have an exam in a few hours [weeps into hands]. And in the spirit of nerdiness, I've put together the geek study look, including shorts by Boon and a snapback hat by Antic Apparel which would go perfectly with the shirt I'm wearing today from tkmaxx. Check out both Boon and Antic on http://sinandprosper.co.uk.

Antic Hat £24.99

To complete the look, grab some very geek chic glasses from asos, smart belt and Y FRONTS (kind of), also from asos.

Wish me luck.

Lead not Follow with Chilled apparel

If you haven't already, take a look at Lead Not Follow's website to get your mitts on some great apparel. The online store stocks the likes of SikSilk, Memoir and Cuckoos Nest to name a few, some of which are my favourite labels at the moment. I've picked out a t-shirt by the Scribblers label which is pretty fun, and reinforces LNF's image of providing only the newest and freshest independent labels.
Another label I'm mad for at the moment is Chilled. There t-shirt designs are extremely unique with a retro quality, and should definitely feature on LNF's website! I've posted a link to a Chilled sweatshirts which is very versatile in regard to teaming with your current wardrobe attire, and displays the authentic logo print.

Complete the look with Topman Jeans £38, asos Sunglasses £15, converse Shoes £55 from Offcie and a Vintage Jacket £65 from Beyond Retro.

The Memoir Vibe look

Memoir Apparel is a relatively new but well established label offering a range of vests and t-shirts with simple and graphic prints. I particular like the vest I've featured below because of the print and slim cut, plus its a little cheaper than the vest from Avid Attire which I showed previously.
Furthermore, and remembering what I've said in the past - Layer up for Summer, I've also posted a Sweater from the very new up and coming clothing label Vibe. I'm a big fan of their sweater designs in particular, which have bold and simple logos with an ideal range of colours. Check out their online stores for more apparel: Memoir Apparel and Vibe.
Vest £20

To complete the look I have put together a few of my favourite items from asos' New In: Back In Stock range, including Levis skinny jeans, asos satchel and asos sunglasses. I really like the shades in particular, and for just £12 they're a bargain.

look out for iTunes Festival 2013

Today I want, Good For Nothing Blood Brother

Today I'm wearing Topman jeans with an American Eagle t-shirt and vintage pink jumper from COW. I've been browsing a lot recently to replace a few of these pieces and have come across some peachy apparel.
Two items I have been looking at a lot this past few weeks are dip/tie dye and low scoop white print tees. Two labels which offer both, and great ones at that; Good For Nothing and Blood Brother.

Good For Nothing has a range of t-shirts, vests and sweatshirts which have a very old school feel with a fresh appeal (a lot of tie dye and butterflies, both I love).

Blood Brother on the other hand is a little more intense and alternative, not a butterfly in sight, but some first rate tie dye and prints. Not to mention a range of sweatshirts and vests with some outrageous multi coloured graphic prints, which are amazing.

My choice right now, the t-shirt from Good For Nothing and the camo jacket from Blood Brother. But in the future, hopefully a lot more from these two lovelies.

Covetous clothing from Avid Attire

Avid attire is a men's and women's fashion label providing a range of t-shirts and vests for a very bold look. I think the cut and style of their vests in particular stands out for all of the right reasons, and will provide an excellent addition to your Summer wardrobe. I've posted a few of my favourite items from their Summer 2013 collection which is all available online.

I'm a big fan of the plain block pastel colour pieces and simple logo branding, making them extremely versatile to team with your current apparel.

I'd recommend Topman vintage jeans with a denim jacket from Beyond retro to complete the look.

Venture out for Venture couture

Venture Couture is a relatively new clothing company providing a range of printed t-shirts, hoodies, jackets and vests. The urban designs are bold and eye catching for all of the right reasons, and at just £24.99 (for a limited time) there isn't a better time to invest in one of their t-shirts. I've picked out a couple of my favourite items from their online store, a printed t-shirt and grey blazer. To see the full extent  of the diverse range, check out Shop Venture Couture

For £69.99 Venture Couture give exactly what you want from a blazer; a slim cut, discrete collar and ideal length. I have to admit that their blazers rival the likes of Zara, providing a better fit and cut for similar prices to the Spanish clothing giant.

All in all, get a t-shirt while they're £24.99 and if you're looking for a new blazer click the link above!

Looking forward to, Time and Place

Time and Place is a new up and coming clothing label. They went out on a whim starting the company and have big ambitions. This is the start of their range which is currently being perfected, and a more diverse range is set to follow.

The designs look great and I'm excited to see what they show in the future!

Today I'm wearing old and new

Today I've teamed an old Levis denim jacket with relatively new River Island skinny jeans and an Allsaints t-shirt which falls somewhere between the two. Graphic tees can often be a bit of a fashion conundrum, often looking better on the rail than they do on your flesh and bones. I think if you're look isn't too 'try hard' then there's no reason you can't mix a bit of alternative with conventional trend and pull it off.
I've found a t-shirt from the always edgy Bolongara Trevor, which is currently on sale.

Roll out the BBQ, play it loud and enjoy the bank holiday...

The Dirty London Look

Dirty London is an up and coming clothing company providing a style which bridges the gap between the likes of Allsaints and Topman. Better still, the prices reflect the Topman end more so which is good news for my bank account. I've picked out a T-Shirt which channels an alternative look with a refreshing amount of originality, accompanied with one of my favourite items from Dirty London (the shop) a pair of Weyfarers Sunglasses for just £20!
I've put the two items with Allsaints jeans and boots, a jacket from Delusion and sweatshirt from Religion.
T-Shirt £30
Sunglasses £20
Sweatshirt £55
Jacket £130
Jeans £110
Boots £130

I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more from them!

Today I'm wearing

Happy Bank holiday weekend! The weather has been perfect so far and in response I'm wearing a print vest from Topman with shorts from TK Maxx. I've posted a couple of items which are similar, including a tank top from allfashion.co.uk, which has some very odd models and clothes...and denim shorts from Topman.

I've also posted a couple hair styling products, which can sort out your bed head bonnet in under 5 minutes...and considering Vo5 matt paste ranges from £3.50 to £5.00 its great value for money.

And for the unlucky few of us who are having to work or study, hopefully this will cheer you up
