Forget the Bébé royale...look! 200 Killer items from ASOS (£20)

I'm obviously joking about the royal baby, its the best thing to happen all year, and surprisingly emotional going from the tears streaming down my face when I heard Kate had gone into labour. It was early and I was tired on my way into work, OKAY?

Anyways, ASOS has a '200 killer items' section, which is also quite exciting. So here's my killer items from the 200 'killers', all for £20 woooo can I get a royal baby holler?

JEANS   JUMPER   DENIM JACKET   SHORTS   VEST   SHOES

My New Favourite of the top 6 killers of the asos killers, this absolute killer jumper...

:

Fit for a King, or a Royal baby in fact. A Royal baby called Henry, or Edward, or George maybe. My bets are on James!!!

Brighten up your Monday, with monochrome...

Mix it up a bit to get a great monochrome, simple European look. After a weekend in sequins (bottom left, very sassy waist coat) I've felt the need to try and restore some form of 'David Beckham-meets-Baptiste Giabiconi-esque' fashion influence. I've put together a collection of brands displaying some of my new favourite looks at the moment, including the varsity jacket from Blood Brother and ripped jeans from Zara.

...and if like me you're stuck at work all day staring outside at the sunshine and blue skys, then I hope the above has brightened up your Monday...not literally.

Pull the pin this Summer with Whole hearted clothing

The blog title may not really make sense but I'm sure you get the picture...Whole hearted clothing and Pull the pin clothing are a couple of great independent clothing brands with a grungey and hippey image respectively, complementing each other well. Follow the links to check out their full ranges which are well worth a look. I've teamed them up with a Religion jacket (from Sereneorder), Topman jeans, Topman bag and an Adidas watch.

Limitless style, with Attire clothing

Attire clothing is an independent company with an extensive and diverse range of vests and t-shirts (and hats and phone cases!) which carry an urban attitude and strong uniqueness. I'm a big fan of their 'Limitless' vest, which is bold whilst being subtle (the fluffy clouds...). Similarly (in a oxymoron kind of way), the t-shirts from Attire clothing manage to be somewhat conventional yet pretty abstract...check them out! All in all, a great plethora of apparel worth having a look (and a purchase).

I've teamed my new favourite Attire vest with jeans from Gas, H by Hudson shoes, a denim jacket from Religion and a Fossil watch.

Shades of 'Romeo & Revenge' and 'One of us'

TGI...S, and the sun is out! If ever there was a time to bring out the big colours and roll out with some fresh bold apparel, then it's now. Today I'm wearing a yellow knit jumper from H&M, which I wrote about a couple months ago, jeans from Old Navy and a Topman belt. In search of more bright clothing treats I came across Romeo and Revenge and One of us apparel, both of which have a great range of bold and unique clothing ranges which stand out for the right reasons. For those of you who want a crazy tie dye number then check out the vest from One of us apparel, a definite 'head turner'. And for those of you who've perhaps been hitting the gym ready for Summer, then look no further than Romeo and Revenge for deep scoops, such as the tee posted below. you'll look great with it on, and off.

Check out their diverse range Romeo & Revenge and One of us apparel

I've teamed them with some bright shorts available from asos and a Triwa watch which is on sale!
Minimum Frede Chino Shorts £50 and Triwa Chronograph Watch £108

Time to Rise (and shine) for Glastonbury

Glastonbury is almost upon us, so if you're one of the lucky people who managed to secure a £250 ticket so that you can wade through swamps, have your tent torched and then wee'd on; then you'll probably be thinking about grabbing some last minute essentials. What may not be on your list, but should be, is Time to Rise clothing, which offers a festival ready selection of loose fitting vests and tees which will be ideal for what looks to be a hot and sunny weekend (breaking Glasto tradition). MyNewFavourite choice from the up and coming independent clothing brand would be the Script Vest which is £10.99, and definitely fits the festival clothing bill.

Team up with some Hunter wellingtons and denim shorts, hopefully you won't need the wellies but they'll look great anyhow ...

Small Victory and Depistar

Possibly the coolest t-shirt ever and my new favourite denim shirt brought to you by Depistar and Small Victory. Complete the look with jeans from Topman and boots from Jones.

Lastly, if you're not following Daktyl already then get on it!

Ruckstivals & Festisacks ...

As of recent I've been writing a few festival themed posts, so whilst on topic during the Summer music period, take a look at some rucksacks all for under £30. I've included MyNewFavourite 3 rucksacks at the moment; Thunder Apparel (the conventional bag with great leather detail), Down But Not Out (Plain and purple to stand out) and American Apparel (a psychedelic classic AA bag). All of which are perfect for the respective festival scenes.

American Apparel £26

Fresh clothes with Fresh Venture

Fresh Venture is a very new and definitely very fresh clothing company from County Durham, who currently have a small selection of apparel which is original and simple. I'm looking forward to seeing more from the creative brand as the tees and vests can be worn with a wide range of clothing and is particularly suited to a more simplistic alternative look. Hopefully we'll be seeing more stash in the near future ...?
