Formal wear with Poste brogues

With a 3rd and final year currently on the home straight for many brings graduation events and celebrations. Luckily I'm doing a Masters so have been spared the daunting inevitability of having to find a job and fend for myself. Unfortunately, being 23 I have found myself in a year of weddings. Below is a picture from a graduation party were I'm wearing brogues from Poste, which were smart and versatile to be worn for the meal, bars and after party.
I'm glad I invested in them as I've worn them a couple of times and they still seem to be as good as new, as well as comfortable with a classic look.

MyNewFestival apparel

Festival season is upon us, and with the added pressure of pitching the perfect tent and fearing it being urinated on or set fire to (or most likely both), comes the dilema of what to wear?! Last year was heavily about tie dye and bold colours, which has consequently had a lasting effect on this years spring/summer wardrobe (which I love). However this year I'm feeling a more refined and simpler look, such as the shirt posted below from Blood brother which features a hint of last years style. I've combined it with heavy monochrome apparel from asos including plimsolls which fit the festival part and are cheap enough to be thrown away at the end of the Summer. I'm a huge fan of the Blood brother's collection and definitely think its worth investing in this shirt, as it is very versatile due to its simplicity, yet will stand out with the yellow dip dye.

For a more light hearted appeal, I've posted some brighter alternatives to the clothes above, including shorts and jacket from asos with a t-shirt from Dirty London

Own the night with young hearted clothing

The best independent clothing brand from the north comes in the form of 'Young Hearted Clothing', with some very creative designs and a great image. I've posted a t-shirt from their collection which demonstrates their originality and psychedelic feel.

Another clothing brand I'm loving at the moment it 'Own the Night' which has an old school tame-ish punk feel, and completely pulls it off. I paired these two brands because they both have a great two toned block print apparel that I think works really well, shown well by the t-shirt below from Own the Night.
